Enrolling in and Using Duo
Duo Two factor authentication is an extra layer of security for users accessing the VPN. IT will enroll you in Duo and then you should receive an email/text from Duo with instructions on how to complete your enrollment. It is recommended that you install the Duo Mobile App on your smartphone and you will need to have it handy to complete your authentication when logging into the VPN each time. Duo is also used for securing your access to Outlook webmail.
1. Download Duo Mobile onto your smartphone. Choose the Apple or Google/Android below based on the type of phone you own.

2. Click the registration link provided via SMS Text. This will register your phone with the Duo application you installed.

When you attempt to access Email from a PC/Laptop using Outlook Web Access (OWA).

- Make sure your smartphone is next to you.
- Click DUO PUSH once you've entered your credentials in OWA.
- Your smartphone will receive a DUO alert to authenticate your credentials.
- Click APPROVE on your smartphone to trigger access to OWA.
- Your OWA session will display your email inbox if successful.

- Make sure your smartphone is next to you.
- Click CONNECT to Global Protect VPN.
- Your smartphone will receive a DUO alert to authenticate your Connection.
- Click APPROVE to trigger access to Global Protect VPN.
- Your Global Protect session will display that you are Connected if successful.
