Not always at your desk? But need to be reached. Why not let the phone system hunt for you, until it reaches a phone line that you can pick up.
Login to your My101Voice Web Portal
Click on the Features & Tools tab on the left pane
Click on the Hunt Groups
4. Click on the FMFM - "Your Initials" link
5. Scroll down to destinations. Click on NEW to specify the first phone line you want the system to call first.
6. Level represents the order the system will call first. Choose 1 (first)
7. In the example on the left, I specified Telephone Line which represents your Department line.
8. Find your name on the list or whomever you want to have called first.
9. Click SAVE .
Now that you saved your first phone line to call, create another destination phone line you want the system to call if your not available at your desk.
10. Level 2 represents the second number it tries to reach if you were unable to pickup your desk phone.
11. Destination is set to Number to allow you to add your cell phone, home phone or an alternate 10 digit phone number to ring secondly.
12. Click SAVE .
Now that you added a second phone line for users to call, you can create as many destination phone lines you want the system to reach you. If this is the final phone line. Go to the next step.
13. Click on the link Default destination if no levels answer" link.
14. For Destination choose Mailbox on the first field.
15. Chose your extension.
16. Click SAVE to complete the process.
Final step is to enable the feature. Continue below.
17. On the left pane, click on devices & Numbers.
18. Click on Feature codes.
19. Click your extension on the feature code list.
20. Change the Default destination to Hunt group
21. Choose your "FMFM - Initials"
22. Click SAVE to complete the function.
Test by calling your department phone. It should proceed by calling your department phone first, then the second number you listed in the hunt group. If you don't answer it should go to your voicemail.
There are more advanced features if staff is interested in different scenarios. Please make sure to walk thru the process before making changes so that you can adjust and apply the workflow based on your needs.
